An acrylic fingernail once worn by Lady Gaga has sold for $12,000 on the auction site ArtFact.com.  The pointed-tip acrylic painted black and gold was worn by the Mother Monster during her "Born This Way Ball" stop in Dublin last September, according to the site's description.

She also wore the set for the launch of her FAME fragrance.  The fake nail was discovered by a crew member who was picking up the stage after the Dublin show.  The winner of the thousand-dollar fingernail was also given a photo of Gaga onstage wearing the set, with one missing - as proof that the acrylic did once belong to her.  A letter from the crew member who found the nail was also included for authentication.

Gaga is currently recovering from the February hip surgery that forced her to cancel half of the U.S. leg of her tour.
