Fire damages two-story condo building

TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) – Tampa firefighters are investigating a condo fire at the SOHO complex off South Howard Avenue.

When crews arrived, firefighters found a two-story condo building with heavy smoke and fire coming from the window of an upstairs unit in building C.

Firefighters said no was home at the time the fire started.

They also said there’s too much damage and deemed it uninhabitable.

Approximately 30 firefighters were on scene of the fire, according to the Tampa Fire Department.
