Talahassee, Florida (AP) - The Florida Supreme Court approves the medical marijuana initiative for November ballot. This was the last hurdle standing in the way of puting the issue to Florida voters in November.
The justices approved the ballot summary 4-3 just three days after a petition drive reached the required number of signatures to place the measure on the ballot.
Republican Attorney General has been pushing for the Supreme Court to keep the measure off the ballot. She claimed the wording was deceiving.
