HART bus system expects to grow by 500,000 riders in 2014

HART expects a 500,000 increase in ridership to more than 15.5 million passengers in fiscal 2014, which began Oct. 1, based on increasing popularity of bus service, the transit company’s staff reported Monday. So HART staff will prepare a report to the HART board after further analyzing the fare structure looking into maximizing revenue while ensuring riders have an economical alternative to full fares. Click Here to read the entire story at TBO.com.
