CLEARWATER, Fla. (970 WFLA) - She made national headlines in 2007 when she couldn't stop hiccuping for five weeks.
Jennifer Mee made the rounds on network TV, searching for a cure for her hiccups.
Now, she'll be featured on national TV again. But she won't have much time to do those interviews. Mee's murder trial begins Tuesday in Pinellas County.
Mee is charged with First Degree Murder for her role in a fatal robbery in St. Petersburg three years ago. If convicted, Mee faces life in prison.
During a brief court hearing Friday, Judge Nancy Moate Ley denied prosecutors' objections to the interviews. They believe Mee's appearance on "Dr. Phil", the "Today" show and "Inside Edition" could make it more difficult to find an impartial jury.
