Bradenton Police Investigate Homicide

Bradenton, Fla. (970 WFLA) -- Bradenton police are investigating an early morning homicide. It happened on the 200 block of 19th Street East.

When officers arrived at 5:20 a.m., they found 47-year-old Linda Brown suffering from a gunshot wound to her abdomen and was unresponsive. She was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

According to the BPD, the investigation revealed Brown had been shot by her live-in boyfriend, 47-year-old Terry A. Braddy, who was arrested Sunday.

This is the 8th Homicide that has occurred within the City of Bradenton during 2013.
