It looks like Miley Cyrus will be revealing a more personal, less flashy side to herself in her upcoming MTV documentary "Miley: The Movement." A new trailer has her explaining the reasons behind some of her most recent controversial behavior.
If that was Miley's plan, it appears to be working. This week, the 20-year-old has found herself at number one on "Billboard's" Social 50 chart, as well as the Hot 100 with her single "Wrecking Ball."
The new trailer also shows Miley interacting with her fans and family members, as she gears up for her now-infamous Video Music Awards performance. She's also seen in the studio with her pop idol Britney Spears, who recorded a duet for Miley's Bangerz album.
Miley says that she was "born to become who [she] is right now" and that she has the freedom to be "exactly who [she] wants to be."
"Miley: The Movement" will premiere on MTV on October 2nd, days ahead of her album release on October 8th.
