A study came over the the summer with a list of the top food cravings most likely to ruin a diet.  YIMES.  CHOCOLATE was number ONE.

 

It was sponsored by Splenda, so their motives may be suspect. 
But the list actually includes a lot of things that don't have sugar, so maybe it still helps.
